Why do we use your personal data?
We want to share and inspire the ways of wearing & Other Stories products for marketing purposes and to give you the chance to show the world your & Other Stories style.

How do we use your personal data?
We will use your personal data (photo, video, username) for marketing and/or advertising in stores, on websites, emails, social media channels and paid social media, and other promotional channels, conducted by & Other Stories. This includes other & Other Stories within the H&M Group, as well as other external parties outside the H&M Group which & Other Stories collaborates with, like for example marketplaces. To be able to do this we need your photo and/or video and in return we will link your photo and/or video to your Instagram account.

Who has access to your personal data?
Your data may be shared within H&M Group and with selected social media platform providers. The photos and/or videos you submit to us are also forwarded to media agencies and technical suppliers carrying out certain tasks on our behalf.

Please note, by hash-tagging your picture or video clip you voluntarily share the content and other personal data with Instagram or other social media platforms. This relationship is outside of H&M's control and a matter between you and the social media service provider.  

What is the legal ground to process your personal data?
We will collect, use, and share your username, photos and/or videos to the extent necessary for us to perform the service and meet your expectations when using the #meandotherstories service (fulfillment of contract).

How long do we keep your data?
We will use your username, photo and/or video for 24 months or until the #meandotherstories specific agreement is terminated.
